Lezenie zostáva mätúcou výzvou, ktorá sa mení s každou novou cestou. Už som musel rovnako zabrať v cestách, ktoré mali nižšiu obtiažnosť. Spokojnosť v tomto športe však neprichádza z čísel, ale z pocitu, keď človek dokončí niečo, pre čo musel tvrdo makať. Som zo svojho lezenia šťastný a to je dôvodom na spokojnosť. Bolo super cestu nacvičovať spoločne s @jon_cardwell a @margojain, ktorí snáď na prelezovú vlnu naskočia čoskoro. La Ramblu po prvý raz preliezol Alex Huber v roku 1994 a ohodnotil ju ako 8c+. V roku 2004 spravil Ramon Julian Puigblanue predĺženie za 9a+, keď odtraverzoval do vedľajšej cesty. Postupne však ďalší lezci našli jednoduchšiu sekvenciu a s minimálne tuctom prelezov je La Rambla jednou z najlezenejších ciest obtiažnosti 9a+ na svete.

With the increasing media focus to promote and spread structured training, it is interesting to know that most of the best boulderers in the world do not train in a structured way. It seems that in bouldering it is good enough to just be fanatic driven by challenges. All Top-5 in the 8a ranking game for both male and female, and other top guys like Graham, Woods, Hukkataival and Robinson, do not follow a strict structured program. At the same time, nowadays many of the best rock climbers and almost all competition climbers follow a training regime. The number one reason for this is of course that when it comes to combining power and endurance, it has been proven that some kind of periodization is often better. On the other hand, boulder power training is often best executed when going for projects simply just because you are more motivated to try harder. Some guys are obviously most motivated by following a structured training system and probably even for the boulderers, this is good once in a while. But do not think this is the only way forward just because of the megaphone message from coaches and the media.

A poszt ami mellett nem mehet el a mászóvilág és ami sokakban felkorbácsolta az állóvizet, avagy elgondolkodtat és tiszteletet ébreszt. Margo Hayes lett az első 9a+ -ra fokozott út női megmászója. Semmi slash grade (osztott fokozat), semmi kitört fogás-vita. A spanyolországi La Rambla 9a+ kente le a gyönyörű és bájos 18 éves fiatalság. A csajszi tavaly mászta első 9a-ját (megjegyzem csendesen Farkas Tamás szerint ez az a fokozat amit egy hobbimászó elérhet), most pedig egyel nőtt a tét! A szintén Amerikai Matty Hong is lecsűrte egy nappal korábban az utat, Greg Mionske pedig, aki a fotóblogjáról és videóiról is híres - arról számolt be, hogy Margonak 7 nap projektelés kellett a nagy menet előtt. Eszméletlen hol tart a sport... szegény Dani Andrada biztos álmatlan éjszakákkal szenved... ő régebb óta projekteli a Rambla-t mint ahány éves az amcsi leányzó. Persze a nagy posztolások és végtelen megosztások után, számos szájkarate is kialakult arról, mi ez a fokozat, ez-e az első női 9a+ és a többi... A múlt homályába vész, hogy 2005-ben Josune Bereziartu megmászta a Bibaluna nevű utat Franciaországban, amit később slash grade-re értékeltek 9a/+ -ként, illetve ott vannak még az Ashima által mászott 9a/+ -os utak, pláne, hogy az Open Your Mind Direct fogáskitöréssel lett ismételve amit már régebben is Ramon Julian 9a+ra voksolt, de az öreg Mateusz (Halaggyál!) és Jakob Schubert később inkább a nehéz 9a tartományába erősített be. Hogy az ezutáni fogáskitörés mit nehezített, azt csak az idő fogja megmondani - de könnyen lehet hogy nem Margóé az ikonikus cím elnyerése. Pusztán ez egy hatalmas teljesítmény és gyönyörű dolog, ami kicsit megszaladt az Instán. De tény ami tény, a La Rambla-t megmászni nem akármilyen áttörés. Hölgy elérzékenyülése az Instagramról: Teljesen el vagyok árasztva az üzenetekkel és alázatosan fejet hajtok az előtt a támogatás előtt amit a mászótársadalomtól, családomtól, közeli és távoli barátoktól kaptam. Múlt hétvégén volt egy pillanatkép, arról milyen lehet a világunk, a különböző nemzetek mászói a Siurana-i szektorban mind egyek voltak, egy egymást támogató közösség, aki egy nyelvet beszél és békében...

Matty Hong comes with great news on Instagram. (c) Greg Mionske "'La Rambla' is complete, my second route of the grade (9a+ or 5.15a). However this time the number wasn't as important for me. Climbing remains to be a confusing challenge that is different with every climb. I've pushed myself equally as hard on routes of a lesser grade. The satisfaction of this sport does not come in numbers but in the moment when you accomplish something you had to work hard for. I'm happy with my climbing and that's where the pleasure comes from. Good times working this route with @jon_cardwell and @margojain who will hop on the train shortly." La Rambla was first done by Alex Huber in 1994 as an 8c+. In 2004, Ramon Julian Puigblanque made a 9a+ extension by traversing into the neighboring route. Later on, the repeaters found an easier sequence and with at least a dozen ascents it is one of the most repeated 9a+'s in the world.

Margo Hayes has become the first female to have conquered the 9a+ grade by doing La Rambla in Siurana today. The 18-year-old has previously done one 9a and last year she won the Youth World Championship in Lead, Boulder and Combined. (c) Matty Hong, who also did the route today. Also Ashima Shiraishi has done two routes where 9a/+ has been mentioned, Open Your Mind Direct and Ciudad de Dios.
