You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time clicking on "My Subscriptions" on the left below your profile link, and then on "Cancel Subscription".

How can I switch from monthly to yearly subscription?
Please unsubscribe from your active subscription and then subscribe again for the subscription of your choice.
I have subscribed, but I can still not see the topos. What should I do?
Please verify that you are logged in with the same account than you purchased the subscription for. If that is the case, try to close the app and start it again. If that does not solve your issue, you might have to delete and re-install the app from your phone. If you still have issues, please contact our support team and we’ll help you out asap.
I got charged twice for the same subscription. What happened?
You most probably have 2 subscriptions on two different accounts. Please let us know via support and we will look into it.
Where can I get a Zlagboard subscription to train with Zlagboard Pro Plans?
You can get one here. Note that Zlagboard Pro Plans are included in a Premium Subscription.
Content vouchers
Does unlocking codes in guidebooks still work?
Yes. Note that the code is covered and the cover must first be scratched off. Take care with the letter O and the number 0, as these are easily confused and still present on older codes.
It says my code is invalid. Why?
You might be trying to redeem a discount voucher in the app. If this doesn’t work, you have to redeem it in the shop, during the checkout process.
If that is not the case, please contact support.
I redeemed a code for a new book, but the content in the app is still the same. Why?
The vouchers always unlock the most up-to-date content that we have, independently of the voucher, or the book in which the voucher was. This ensures that you have up-to-date content. If you bought a book 1 year ago and unlocked its content in the app, and now the new book is out, you will get the new stuff automatically and only need to redeem the new voucher when the old one expires (or give the voucher to a friend :-) )
I got a voucher from a book. Where can I redeem it?
You can redeem it directly in the Vertical-Life Climbing app available on iOS and android. Just click 'Redeem code' on the homescreen and it will take you the correct place.

Why is the book not digitized yet, when the print version is already out?
All of our digital content comes from the authors or publishers, and it can happen that they get it to us only after the book is printed. Depending on the data we receive and our backlog, it can also take a while to get it ready for the app.
How can I add new content to Vertical-Life (new route, crag or sector)?
You can only do this by adding an ascent. If you add an ascent of a new route (in a new or existing crag), use the "Create New" tab on the add ascent page

I would like to change my email address. How can I do it?

I would like to unlink my account from facebook or apple. How can I do it?
If you go to your profile, and then to the info tab, and click the pencil/edit icon, you find a ‘Manage Account’ link towards the bottom of the modal. This opens a window on which you can manage your VL account. To unlink Facebook or Apple, you go to ‘Account Security > Linked accounts’ in the menu.
I would like to merge two accounts. How can I do it.

Two accounts
I would like to merge my old 8a and my Vertical-Life logbook. How can I do it?

Followings / Followers
I followed someone and no longer see their ascents, or I can no longer find them in the search. What happened?
They probably set their profile to private. A private profile does not appear in followers lists, and their ascents are not visible in friends feeds. All ascents appear only as anonymous in crag and route feeds. Private profiles cannot be found via the search.
Personal data
I would like to export my logbook data. How can I do it?
Go to your profile info tab, click the edit button, and go the Logbook Export section at the bottom. You will find the csv download button there. The file will include all your ascents.
Mobile app
I want to add an ascent for a route that is not listed in the app. How can I do it?
This is currently not possible in the app. Please go to the add ascent page and navigate to the "Create New" tab. There, you can add an ascent and thus create the route.
Anonymous accounts
How can I set myself to anonymous?
Go to your profile, and then the info tab. Click on the edit icon and check the "Private Profile" checkbox.
