The 5 Meignon sibblings
Hugo (16), Thoma (15), Elie (13), Nina (10) and Naรฏlรฉ (8) have recently been enjoying Rodellar and their father Lucas gives us their family story.
"Since they were small, we initiated our five children to mountain sports. Their inspiration and that climbing can be practiced intensively and safely at an early age, led us to focus on this sport while continuing occasionally with other mountain sports.
Our children can enjoy the specificities of climbing, including the individual physical and psychological commitment required to access the top of a boulder or a route; the obligation to ensure his safety and that of others, trust values, abilities and choice; the invention of playgrounds that are routes and boulders and their proposal to the community; the opportunity to practice regular indoor as in outdoor, the atmosphere friendly and mindset still preserved ... we chose to use the club in addition to family practice.
Our parental involvement in the educational factor that is climbing, healthy competition among siblings, the regular and important intake of Chambรฉry Escalade club, family practice crag during holidays and weekends, as well as the experience of the competition Sabine (mother, judo at international level), allow them to evolve their capabilities, their personal involvement and reach their full potential by practicing climbing in all its forms at your own pace, level, always in search of good life together!
Beyond individual travels for competitions, our next trips family climbing in plans are Italy, and perhaps the United States, to see ... because at seven, it represents large budgets and logistics!
