Success for IFSC DWS in Norway
The third Norweigian Rock Master took place in the downtown harbour of Arendal in Norway and it was a great success. The Norweigian hero and #4 in the World Championships Magnus Midtbo, climbed last out topping the route and winning ahead of Markus Jung due to better qualifying round results.
The visionary of the Rock Master is Bolting-Bรถrre and the idea come from Steve McClure. "We will also do it next year and improve some details to make it even better." All the finalist were taken by water scouter to the 38 degrees jacuzzi etc. Most climbers said, "This is the future and more fun than ordinary World Cups."
Among the girls, sister Hannah won in a super final against Berta Martin, so in the end the Midtbรถ family made Euro 4 000. Now it is a big party including yachts in the harbour and a disco at the pires. WOW!

9a+ by Magnus Midtbo
Magnus Midtbo did La novena enmienda, 9a+ at Santa Linya, yesterday. It is a 45 meter long route, overhanging some 30, that also Sharma, Marin, Ondra and Usobiaga have done. It was put up by Dani Andrada in 2005.
