Sardinia - The next boulder destination
Fabian Buhl, who were in the La Sportiva Sardina Bloc Scouting team in November reports about a potential new boulder granite destination in the north of the beautiful island - Gallura.
"I would recommend the area for all people that want to combine a nice holiday, with all the great Italian culture and doing FA's! We opened roughly 150 boulders. La Sportiva will present a topo and a video. I hope we could create something that other people could enjoy and hopefully also do more FA's! Then we will have another Italian bouldering destination, in great setting. Itยดs just an amazing island!
We left a few pads and all the cleaning equipment in Albert's place he knows a lot and also has a guidebook! His rooms are also available for climbers and I honestly recommend this place for your trip! The potential is great, we walked around and found tons of boulders!
There are also some areas where people climbed before, like on La Madallena, which is a really beautiful Island and you boulder looking at the sea! The rock has crazy features and it is really dynamic and powerful, almost like gym climbing!
