Jan hojer is the new star on the bouldering scene being #3 in the last WC in Vail and after advanced to #13 in the 8a ranking game after a very successful week in Magic Woods. What is the reason for this nice progress and what is your next plan? "The progress of the last few month felt very steady to me. Last winter I started to train more serious because of the huge number of goals I wanted to achieve on rock and in the world cups this year. I did a lot of campus boarding and mainly focused on physical aspects and noticed significantly improvements every month! I didn't train according to any plan or coach and only when I was motivated! This year I'm gonna participate in the last WC as well as in the world championship, hoping to have good results to be allowed to do the whole WC series next year. Since I finished school recently I try to spend as much time as possible on the rocks to have fun and push my limits!
