"I am not interested in improvement"
Debate/Jens: One of the best and most tallented climbers in Sweden, Erik Grandelius (20), several times finalist in Euro Youth Cups and who has onsighted 8b, has given this statement which is thoughtfull.
"I have changed my attitude towards climbing. I am not interested in improvement. I want and can already enjoy so much at my current level."
Erik will of course invest time and work hard for accomplishing a project but this has nothing to do with general improvement and the grade to be done. He is just obsessed of challenge himself on quality climbs no matter the grade. Kind of a nice insinct of a 20-year-old in his prime for improvement :-)
