8A by Megan Mascarenas (17)
Megan Mascarenas, who won the last boulder World Cup, has done The Amendment 8A (7C+) in Boulder Canyon. "It was definitely my style, lots of heel hooks and some small tech-y crimps at the top! Next in line is still Shatner v12 (8A+) in Newlin! (Pictured) That climb is my life project!"
Megan flashed an 8A when she was 14 years old. Here are her thoughts about training after her victory in Vail. "I climb 4 or 5 days a week, with the main focus on just plain old climbing. I don't do much else besides basic push-ups pull-ups core stuff. I truly think climbing is the most important part of training."

Ondra flashes 3*8C in two weeks
