Ranking of friends

Unfortunately not so simple :-) We'll have to re-work the rankings at some point and are going to look at all of the input we've received then to improve them.

It looks like a version of this exists in the vertical life app, but only if you and every friend logs all sends in the app. So not the same.

Is there an 8a.nu API by chance?

There is no 8a.nu API for this unfortunately, but when the rankings get synced this feature will come to all ascents, no matter where the person logged.

I am curious if there is a rough time frame for that?

Great work merging the 2 data sets. One thing that looks like has not ported over to the app yet is the "following" and followers." Can you look into that? Mine just say 0 and 0.

We are working on that right now, should be ready within the next couple of weeks if all goes well. Followers, search, galleries and rankings are still to be done as far as the unification goes.

Thanks for the update Ben, I look forward to the update and am glad things seem to be going smoothly (at least from a user side) in terms of merging 8a and vertical life.

Looks like it now shows numbers next to "followers" and "following" but clicking on them in the app does nothing. Having the "friends" filter working in the ranking section is still what I look forward to the most.
