winter in spain

I lived from late december to late march in olessa de montserrat and went to climb at least 3 times a week. Often you got to choose the sunny side, but on one day in march, it was already too hot (!) to climb at garraf/ barcelona close to the sea. Anyway if it rains around barcelona/ monterrat you can be luky at the costa daurada siurana/ montsant/ ... Only one hour drive away and a bit hotter and often different climat. In 1 hours drive from barcelona you can reach climbs for a lifetime. And if you like longer pitches try to visit terradets (an amazing 500m steep limestone wall) or villanova de meillat close to it (not far from lleida) with amazing limestone too.
