Hi People! Me and a few friends are looking to go to Mallorca, Spain in late October. First and formost we want to climb fun routes but also enjoy off-season beach and nightlive. Can someone who has been there give some pointers to where to stay? we plan to be there for 2 weeks and will rent a car the enitre time. Good bouldering, toprope and pre-bulted routes is what we are looking for.. still feeling a bit rookie =) also.. does anyone know where the Arch from "Kinglines" is located? Not saying that we will try it... not saying that we wont =) Thanks Kalle, Sweden
Hello there! Last year I was in Mallorca, what an amazing island! I was in "S'arenal platja de Palma", where the nightlive is really good! its a bit far from all the climbing areas of the island, anyway you can get to almost all places of Mallorca in 1 hour, more or less. I bought a spanish/english guide of desnivel called "Psicobloc Mallorca" (shop online www.libreriadesnivel.com ), its useful, there you have a lot of areas, routes, boulders and DWS, and its about 20ย i think... The arch is called "Es pontรกs", to get there you have to go to Cala Santanyรญ (sport and bouldering area too) and there you will see the indications to go. The arch is really famous (not only for climbers) so its easy to get there. I think thats all that you need...if you need some more info [email protected] Sorry for my english! Have fun. Ivรกn.
