I've heard he's on a break from climbing (somebody confirm?). He did make FA of an 8C in States a while back (this was on some blog which I can't remember now, anyone?).

a dutch climbing magazine (http://www.bladoverklimmen.nl/) just did an interview with him, but they translated it into dutch, and since they probably have the thing in english as well, i'm not going to translate the whole thing.
the relevant part now is that he had some motivational problems after his fontaine bleau rampage last winter (movie coming up from www.unclesomebody.com). in the interview he says that after reaching his pesonal best level in font he just wasn't as hungry for improvement as before, so he spent 3 months not climbing (playing soccer and poker, and running) and starting university (or college, in the states).
his is climbing again now, and he is strong again...
What has Ty Landman been doing??
