Hy, This summer we're planning a trip to the spanisch and/or french pyrenees for 1 month. We'd like to go sportclimbing, bouldering and multipitch. Our trip starts in Rodellar for sure and later maybe a few days Targasonne for bouldering, but besides that we have no clue... Anybody some good suggestions?? I heard Riglos would be to hot... :-(
Nice choice. Iยดll be in Rodellar and arround from june the 13th to juli 16. Hope we meet there! Riglos seems to be hot, but might be worth a shot, Ill never been there.

Damn. We plan to leave belgium between 15th and 20th of july (depends on work), so it will be hard to meet :(. Enjoy, and if you encounter some nice spots...let me know! :) grdz
Jaap, you should try Dent D'Orlu on the French side, really nice multipitch routes. Check it out http://cafma.free.fr/Orlu/fr_orlu.htm

Sorry Jaap, never been there but I've been trying to go for a long time. Some friends told me about it and how nice the place is. There is a guide if you decide to check it out: http://www.barrabes.com/barrabes/product.asp?pf_id=18674&idvariedad=72386 Have fun!!!
Hi Jaap, Targasonne is a nice boulder area. Only in the summer it's to hot for bouldering during the day. I was there for 2 years ago with a friend. We did 2 boulder sessions on a day. In the early mornings till 10 a 11 hour and at the end of the day after 5 o clock.  We had also some late night sessions with gaslight and headlights. That was a nice experience. Grt

Sounds perfect for a relaxing bouldering-trip!! Is there water around (like a lake or small river)...then I'm convinced we have to go! haha :-)

yeah, I heard about it in another tread...but I can't find much info (that's not in spanish). And I think it is "close" to Targassonne...so that would be perfect! Do you have some info on the place?
Jaap, There is an big lake around, it's about 30 min drive by car. The lake called Barrage de Matemale (le Lac de Matemale). Grt
