Topo for Arboli

being one of the best crags in arboli, "El falco" is covered in the new siurana guidebook. tony arbones sells it on his campsite in siurana. should be available in the climbing shop down in cornudella too. as for the rest of arboli...i believe that the last rockfax edition "costa daurada" is the newest guidebook there is. that should be the 2002 edition you found on the internet. although there supposedely is up-to-date information available at the refugio in arboli. you can always ask in cornudella de montsant at the climbing shop or the guesthouse. or you could even try asking tony... hope that was helpful.

there are two arboli guides existing, the older one a cheap copied one, but both should be newer and way more complete than the rockfax. try getting it in cornudella or head for the new siurana guide if interested in falco only.

there is a new local guide for Arboli on sale in the climbing shop in Cornudella and also (I think) at the refugio in Arboli - proceeds from the sale of the guide go to the local bolt fund. El Falco is also covered in the new Siruana guide available from Tony at the campsite in Siruana. The Rockfax guide covers some of the climbing in this area but is missing a lot of the newer activity and doesn't cover all the crags. From memory the newest local guide has about 800 routes listed and there are probably more new routes by now, check at the local refugio, the Rockfax database lists 89 routes for the El Falco area, but to be fair, it is by design a select guide.
