Technique/strength for underclings?

Hey there all. I've been working on problems and I'm wondering how to develop undercling strength- (especially on underhanging problems)? For I tore a tendon sheath or something doing a problem - and now recovering, I'm thinking that I should have built up a good undercling base, and i'm Trying to be safe later on =)
low rep high weight bicep curls are a good place to start if you are unable to climb and nursing an injury. then set up on a systems board a few undercling moves and repeat the movement. this is not the answer to your training but it will help a bit.
