i would go with the python. Solutions are hopless..  lasts about one month of climbing before the velcro or shooe string goes..on my third pair now after having to change them after about 4 weeks..  last pair i`ve been tapeing the stresspoint and beeing super carefull and still they are ready to go at any moment...  have`nt tryed the pytons but they have a better system it seems. and i think im going to try them next.
python = cobra with better heel, also with velcro wich means they stays better in your feets not super agressive, despite the photos from the la sportiva website also a very soft shoe good for roofs or indoor climbing...overall python is an improved cobra solutions = much stiffer, less sensitive, the hook is much more agressive...much different shoe, feels much heavier also better on small footholds for example, and the works good also on vertical more expensive than pythons had 2 pairs, no problems with them If I would have to choose, I would probably go for solutions

Have been climbing 2 times a week for 5 months with my pair of Solutions without any problems with the velcro...The solution is just awsome.

as long as Adam Ondra is using the Miura for his 9bs i am going to stick to the Miura VS
I just retired my last pair of solutions and I climbed in them about twice a week for over a year (indoors and outdoors).
The Solutions are pretty good in my opinion- they combine comfort and precision better than any other shoe I have worn. Better for toe and heel hooking as well. Haven't worn the Pythons yet.
