Skin rebuilding products/methodologies?

Does anyone know of any products that rebuild skin (tips) fast after getting destroyed outside (or indoors)? Apart from climbing outside a lot, anyone know of techniques to build calluses?
Even though a lot of my friends think the following advice is rubbish it is not: buy a good creme...I really like the ClimbOn! stuff, you can use that for everything and it really helps the skin to heal, like recovering from cuts etc...Once your skin is destroyed, it takes a long time to recover...so better preserve it: wash with cold water, use cream after climbing, minimize use of liquid chalk if any and desinfect cuts to prevent them from getting infected. If you want to build up skin, a good hangboard helps a little, though you`ve given the best tipp yourself: get out as often as you can. Don`t shred them completely though, better rest for one day and recover than rest a week after bleeding tips...

from my experience one of the most important things is to use a rasp/sandpaper from time to time to remove parts of the horny skin. if it is too much in some places these pieces can easily rip of on sharp holds and you get pretty deep holes in your fingers/hand.i use also a hand creme and it really helps but it should not contain to much water.
it becomes expensive, but for ravaged hands with multiple flappers, apply neosporin or polysporin liberally at night, like you would a cream.  you may need to wear gloves or even clean socks to avoid smearing this greasy stuff all over your home, bed, and/or tent.  then, before climbing, be sure to clean your hands.  i have found that using liquid dish detergent works the best because of its grease-cutting characteristics.  if you climb without thuroughly cleaning off any lotion, cream, or hand-slave, you will certainly slip off holds.  same goes for if you apply sun lotion or bug repellant with your hands, or even eating greasy or oily foods at the crag.
