I'm working on a project and I'm wondering what grade the climb would be. So far the route looks like this: (i guess) 7B+ or 7C boulder to a new 7B+ boulder to a 7A boulder, and the rest of the route might be like a 7c+ or maybe even a 8a route, atleast it looks easier than the start. There are no real rests between the boulderproblems. This route is by far the hardest I've tried/projected and i'm not sure if the grades of the problems are correct as I havent done them yet ,but it feels similar to other problems I've tried. Well my question is what grade would this be.. if I manage to send it.. ?? Definately harder than 8a+, but is it 8b ? 8b+ ? 8c ? i'm clueless...
I would guess 8b. If the adding of difficulty would have been the oposite it might have been 8b+. In general terms adding difficulty do not increase the grade as much as you think as the grades are so wide.
Well first I have to do the route ... The good thing about the route is that thetop of the route (upper 2/3) take the easiest way. And it's possible to make that part way harder... if needed.. :p Hopefully I'll do it this autumn..
