Who has the right to change route names? Why the name of one of my routes is changed? Route "Kenjaj" was changed already few times to "Kenia". The name of the route is "Kenjaj". I do not want somebody which does not know the names of the routes to change my routes!
Crack: Lakatnik Sector: Vrazhite dupki - Altius The route is "Kenjaj" and already 2 times it was changed to "Kenia". "kenjaj" is Serbian word and has nothing common with "kenia" (african country).
You also changed one of my "Nameless" routes to sth like "? no name", and the crag to El Chorro / Makinodromo. However, I've never climbed at the Makinodromo, and now I have no idea which route I climbed. So that's it, I quit 8a.nu.
I think we should be able to use 8a.nu as a climbing log book and also trust it not to be altered by anyone else than yourself. Would be a great feature.
There are 2.5 million ascents in the 8a data base out of which some 150 000 route names have been corrected by some 100 volunteers. This has improved the data base and the Tick List significally. There are still at least 100 000 names that are not correct. When you change the names of 150 000 ascents it is not surpricing that some few occur. In most cases we can change it back to the original name. In this case, I can not understand how it can be of great importance to change a ? No name ascent to something different. However, I can of course do it.
Again route name was changed by somebody else! Please make some option (checkbox) which will indicate that root name is locked so nobody else (some volunteer) could change them.
