Railay beach thailand

Planning a trip to Thailand in November and I'm wondering if anyone can share info about how they packed their gear for the flight, any pertinent info about customs and what to do/not do while in Thailand. Should I get any innoculation before going? Places to visit, places to stay away from? Any advice is welcome. I believe we are going to land in Hong Kong or Singapore and shoot over from there. Not sure about that part yet. Cheers, Mike.

Do NOT pack your quickdraws in your hand luggage. It will be confiscated. (They claim you could use it as a glove to punch with) It's cheaper to stay in Tonsay than Railay West, and close to many crags. Have a nice trip. Samuel

November is a great time to go, just before all the high season prices kick in. I recomend having a look at http://www.railay.com for information on routes an accomodation prices. Have fun! It's ,y favorite place to climb!
