Quality or Quantity

@Jens: - You are telling everybody almost every week that the traffic at 8a.nu has increased, which I don't really doubt. From that you conclude that your site is the best climbing website in the world. - At the same time, more and more "celebrities" (like you call them) are leaving your site, i.e. they aren't registering their sends any more. The ones which are coming to my mind are Tomas Mrazek, Patxi Usobiaga, Chris Sharma, Charlotte Durif, David Lama, Steve McClure, Andreas Bindhammer, Enzo Oddo, Tyler Landman, etc. If I've digged a little deeper, I'd surely find more examples. Why do think it is like this? Are you satisfied with this trend? Do you prefer quantity over quality?

Most of the mentioned athletes have done very few hard ascents in 2009. I communicate often with Usobiaga, Mrazek and McClure who says that scorecard competing is no longer interesting as he has done most routes in the UK. I guess, we will see Usobiaga (interview is coming up) and Mrazek ascents in the scorecard as soon as they have started to send again. The father of Durif has been told to stop recording her ascents. Oddo has been told by Mรถ to not report ascents. The rest have NOt been performing at their highest level in 2009. It is just natural that you have some who stop the 8a scorecard game but there are more new members than ever signing up. I am satiesfied with this trend.
