I made a translation of the transcript of the DVD On Sight which you can download from http://www.peteranne.it/onsightit.pdf . I did this since we are always debating the ethics of on sight climbing and this is a benchmark in this regard, and also because I offered a copy of the film, one of my favourite, as a prize for the on sight Shardrock classification in Sardinia where we live. The producer Alastair Lee then offered some T-shirts, so we now have prizes from international sponsors for our very local climbing scene...wow! The film doesn't have subtitles and so isn't easily understandable if your (climbing) English isn't good. It occurred to me that people wanting to learn Italian for climbing might find it a fun way to learn some expressions, I mean, how people actually talk at the crag. In Italian you soon learn cazzo = fuck, not quite so bad as in English, but with only this you don't get so far. Anyway - enjoy it. Peter
