Thanks for your support! http://www.alpinus-miejodwage.pl/500 If you think that the treasures of the Caribbean are hidden somewhere in the wrecks of pirates' ships or are buried deeply in the sands, in spots marked with ย„Xย” - you are wrong! They simply rise from the ground and are just a background for summertime photos. Luxurious hotels and drinks with umbrellas are nothing comparing to them. Virgin rocks of the Caribbean ย– we want to climb them! The first Polish, bouldering expedition to the British Virgin Islands whose main goal is rock exploration, setting new boulders and blazing a trail for other climbers.
i'm going to vote if you tell me where to climb in poland this summer. I'm from canada and i'm going to poland for about a month or more? Thanks
Hi Gabriel, where you will stay in Poland? Do you have any preferences regarding the rock - limestone, granite, sandstone? There are quite few nice places.
I am quite often going to Gdansk, but was told there is nothing to climb in its northern part.. is it true? Could anyone telling me where the closest place sits? EDIT: i am very interested in bouldering!
Hi Nicky, anything except trad since I don't bring my gears. What is your favorite place for sport climbing without a car and with a place to stay near the spot
@Sidney - unfortunately you don't have too many outdoor options in Gdansk. Most of the regions are in the south part of Poland. In Gdansk you can probably do the urban climbing. Here are some places listed: http://www.zanik.pl/luki.php It's called "Gdanskie murki". @Gabriel - since I'm from Wroclaw the most popular place is Sokoliki: http://www.climb.pl/topo-polska/sokoliki/ You can take train there (to Janowice Wielkie) and there are some nice places to stay nearby. If you will be near Krakow you can always try the most popular climbing place in Poland - Jura. It's quite big so better decide before in which part you want to climb since the rocks are spread out on the whole area: http://www.climb.pl/topo-polska/ Hope it helps you to start research ;) Enjoy!
dziekuje bardzo nicky!
