Hello to everyone, I would like to ask if someone has been to Gorge du Todra where i would go in october,So my question is abouth acomondation(prices and quality),abouth water(is there a free water or i should buy and how much does it cost),food(how is the food,how much does it cost and where i can find it there near the gorge),where i can find a climbing guide(and how much it costs),and where i can find a a rent a car in Marakesh? Hi, you'll find some very basic accomodation right at the start of the gorge. You can sleep for 3ย on the roof, for a bit more you sleep inside. Better places maybe inside the gorge or 10 km away, between the Gorge and Tinherir. Buy water, around 1 ย a bottle. For 3 or 4 ย you can eat in the gorge.
I recommend a guide (at least for a day, so he can show you around), as it's difficult to find the sectors and the routes. I followed the advice of many and hired Mister Hassan (Mouhajir), who is normally at the Hotel La Vallee right at the entrance of the gorge. He seems to know every move of every route and is helpful in every way. I paid 400 Dirham for half a day (Noon until sunset). He also can provide/sell you the topo.
