Hey guys, im going to Margalef at christmas for a couple of days. The first two days of my stay the refugio is closed so i canยดt get a topo. Can you please tell me if the name of the routes is painted under each pitch cause Iยดve got a list of all routes in each sector with the level of difficulty. In which sectors can I catch a lof of sun? Is CAMI DE L' ERMITA or LA BRASERIA comfortable? Thanks for your help Cheers Panta
no names as far as i rmember anyway some good news for you: -both sectors are in the sun all day -in camรฌ de l'eremita the easiest routes are on the left and the hardest on the right. This crag is quite straightforward to find: drive up to the eremita de san salvador, take a path going left if you look the monastry, then 1st intersection right. -in la braseria you have two parts, the lowest part is mostly 6a/+ with one 6c on its extreme left. The upper leftmost part is mostly 6b's hope that helps!
If you plan on buying the local guide after 2 days I don't think i will make any harm by telling you that you can access to some "free info" in google by checking keywords "croquis margalef" or "reseรฑas margalef" both in search the web and google images.
