I'm from Brazil
and I will go to Thailand
on my own to climb!
I will be getting in Tonsai Beach
on December 10 th 2011 and leaving on January 7 th 2012
I imagine I wonยt have a problem to find a partner
there, but I think is a good idea to start looking for it now, here in the
8a.nu... Who knows??! :)

hey everyone im going to thailand with my girlfriend this summer, and im currently trying to look up some routes. She is bit of a beginner so trying to find some easierer routes to teach her lead climbing. but kinda hard to find somethin on the net, well at least i havent found anything yet. if anyone got any suggestion pls right me personal msg. thanks
Thijs: There are a few easy routes on 1-2-3 wall and Muai Thai wall (both on Railay east side - usually very crowded) and a 5c and 6a on Dum's Kitchen (Tonsai). Also on Tonsai you find Groove Tube (6a?) which is a three-star route. But generally I would not recommend Tonsai/Railay for anyone who does not onsight 6b's. The setting, weather, people, food etc is excellent - climbing is OK but you need to be operating in the high 6 or 7 to have fun.
Found this link with pictures and topos. Not all sectors are there.
