Can somebody help me? My dad lives in Madrid, I found out you can climb really great in La Pedriza, can somebody please tell me where I can find a climbing/boulder partner? Thanks!
I used to live in Madrid but don't live there any more! :( If you want to meet some people to climb with, a great place to meet some guys would be at one of the climbing gyms (rocos in spanish). A really good gyms is Bulder King, another but not as good is Salamandra. At Universidad Complutense at Ciudad Universitaria there is a free climbing wall and there's pretty much always a whole bunch of climbers hanging and climbing there. I've met and gone climbing with a lot of people from there. One last place would be in La Latina where the Rastro takes place every Sunday. There are a lot of climbing/mountaineering shops there and naturally a lot of climbers work there. Good luck but shouldn't be too hard if you check out one of there places!
