how to improve 8a.nu

hi, i think 8a.nu is a quite good database but like everywhere else there is room for improvement. so here are some ideas which would be great from my point of view. - the first site should be news only, but jens could post his discussions in a special site so that there is home/news - arcticles - discussions - gallery... or just post these things in the forum - the picture votes in the gallery should only be possible for registered users and only one vote per account per picture the way of voting should be more transperent than 6a 7a 8a, maybe by 1 to 5 stars - i saw that there are spanish news on the spanish site, you could try to find some willing people in germany, france, austria as well it would be great to get local/international news and this database on one internet site - there could also be a system for rewarding the users who are active in the community like getting points for posting comments oder uploading pictures. maybe this would improve jens's discussions too ;-) - a little detail is also disturbing me why aren't the countries in your lists in alphabetical order? - there could be a function to comment on climbing/boulder crags so if for example the magic wood is soaking wet climbers could post it there and maybe add a link to the local weather station hm, i think that's it... some of the ideas are connected with a lot of work but maybe it would really help to improve this site! i am sure there are some other people around with good concepts please feel free to add things or tell me this is absolutly idiotic ;-) greetz, hadi
