This is just an opinion based survey - it's not part of "a scientific research" (whatever that is supposed to mean). If it was scientific research it would involve actual experiments and testing hypotheses about the use of chalk. Just call it a survey - there's no science involved in asking someone their personal opinion about something.
Hi bmk! Of course this survery is not a research by its own. It is just a little addition to a chemistry project we are working on. Bringing some empirical facts like this into account can still be scientific in my opinion though. We still hope many of you participate!!!
