It is hypocrisy from the brand that produce the gri-gri not to agree the method 8a propose to use it. Almost no climber use the recommended official way !
Well. I believe that hipocrisy is a hard word to be used. Petzl is just saving their reputation. But I agree with you, the 8a method is amazing. Since I knew I just use it. Itยดs easier and safer than Petzl method.
