If you want to flash a traverse and you have already climbed the other boulders in the traverse, is it a flash? Of course there are some new moves, which connect the other boulders. What do you think, would you consider this still a flash?
I think is is OK, if the extension increases the difficulty from 6C to 7C. If you have done straight ups and later you want to make a traverse in between the new moves have to be a full grade harder. This is not a black and white thing and in some cases I would also think just three grades added can be OK. Can you please register your full name :)

Great... in such case I would consider it a flash. There are no written rules in climbing beside the 8a recommendations so it is always nice to discuss and share opinions. For the top guys it is important that they use the same ethics :)
