I have been searching the web for a good fingerboard training session that works with the metolious Stimulator fingerboard but haven't found any that are that good. So I was wondering if anyone here knows of any good training plan and could point it out? :) Also if you have developed a good session on your own I would love to hear about it too thanks
This is a decent start: http://usa.moonclimbing.com/fingerboard-training-plan-c-334_353.html I would recommend picking out around 10 holds that you would like to train, and train them in succession following a 5 sets of 5 second hangs protocol, with around 1-2 minutes between each different hold type. For example: 4 finger crimp- Hang for 5 seconds, rest for 5 seconds. (Repeat 4 MORE times, 5 total.) rest 1-2 minutes. (Longer if necessary.) Move to a different hold. These are called repeaters. Adjust difficulty by using 1 or 2 hands, choosing better holds, and adding/taking off weight. You should aim to be able to hold your chosen holds around 5-10 seconds.
