David lama onsite mortal combat?

David Lama has claimed an onsite or flash of mortal combat, however he had to redpoint the first section, therefore even if he did flash the top wall it still dosent count as a flash, its a redpoint as he had already been on the route. god if these young climbers are growing up with ethics like these then in a few years their will be serious problems. Also Yujis on site of White Zombie was not onsite, it was flash he had belayed his young japenese friend on the route for several days, i saw with my own eyes yuji watching his firend trying the route therefore its not on site and shouldnt be claimed as one.

That's serious what you said about Yuji. He is very respectful about the ethic. But if what you said is true, you are right it's not a real onsight, but a flash, still an incredible performance, but still a flash...

So you mean Yuji was or is just pretending his onsight? I mean a professional like him should know the difference between flash and onsight!

i dont have anything against Yuji but like Lukas said he is a professionnal but he has more interrest to say it is on sight than almost on sight... the problem is the boarder between onsight and flash. For me you belay someone in a route, it's sure you dont know everything about the route, but you have some details that can help you when you try it "on sight" espicially in a hard on sight, and for me knowing 10% of a route is already flash... I dont say this against Yuji particulary but to all climers who say they on sighted something after belaying someone 10 times in this route... and about David Lama its sure it is not flash... even if you have a big rest after the first 7c+ part Mortal Kombat is 40 meters long and not 34... anyway, great performance Yuji and David
