Hi, i`m 26 from switzerland and will go to the US in October/November 09. Is it difficult to find climbing partners in Red River Gorge ? What other crags/locations are good to climb there??? Maximum 7c+/8a sportclimbing. Greatz Alex
Alex, You'll have no problem finding partners. Camp at Miguels and you'll be part of the family in no time. The good fall crags are Motherlode, Left Flank, The Sanctuary, Purgatory, Drive By, and well.... all the rest. You'll love it!

For climbs check out http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuide/ . The closest airport is Lexington, but from Europe you probably want to fly in the Cincinnati. That's a good time of the year provided it's not rainy... Good luck.
Balazs is right on. October/November is your best shot at great weather. Just make your way to Miguels, and all the rest will be easy to find out... Enjoy your trip!
