Hi I am searching for a climbing partner for Railey, Aonang or Krabi. I will be in a hotel in Aonang from 28 February to 12 March. I have no rope and quickdraws, only a harnest and Carabiner. I will check for answers with Internet of the Hotel. Looking forward to climb in the sun. ^^
Don't stay in Aonang. Take the boat to Tonsai and hang out at the beach. Talk to people at Chicken Mamas and the other places, and you will have found a partner in less then an hour. Many people go to Tonsai with out an partner, so easy to hook up. But nobody stays in Aonang.
He's right definately stay in Tonsai if you can. I left there about a week ago, I was on my own & its really easy to meet climbing partners - check the board outside basecamp or write your own message. Aonang is too far out the way & you'll have to pay the boat each day. Accomadation is pretty cheap in Tonsai if you seach around.
