Hey all you climbers out there. Hereยดs a little request from a rookie. Iยดm currently living in Shanghai, China, gona be here until the end of july and I love climbing =D Itยดs really hard finding ANY places to climb around here. There are 2 indoor gyms in Shanghai that I know about, One is Shanghai Stadium Rock Climbing club that tops out at 18 meters and from what iยดve heard is quite good, the only thing is that its indoor-outdoor (only roof, open side) and its really cold here in shanghai now. The other place is Masterhand climbing club (probably former Ozark climbing centre since i saw some signs with that name) which I now have a membercard at. Highest is 15 meters and from my limited expertice its fun. And I suppose thatยดs all that matters. But! I want to do some real rock-climbing also and since its close to impossible to make yourself understood with english here, Iยดm wondering if any of you out there have any suggestions on sportclimbing routes or possibly boulders in the Shanghai area. So... what level am I at... dunno actually, Iยดve never checked what grade a route is on so Iยดm probably on a really low level. Iยดve been climbing on and off for a year now in indoor gyms, done two trips to railay with some easy, guided climbing. =) Thats it. But any suggestions are welcome, I dont mind taking a trip even if I wont be able to climb it. Thanks in advance /Daniel
