censorship of scorecards

I agree! J McNasty's scorecard was one of the best on 8a! I laughed out loud every time I saw it. He was 5th in the American ranking! We want J McNasty back!

while i am a big fan of j mcnasty's score card, i am not so sure that the reason posted for its deletion is a valid reason to delete an account. the things posted in the account were no more offensive than a lot of route names. i am sure we all can think of a few right now. so the censorship of this account is in my opinion in poor taste. j mcnasty had a glorious score with many triumphant sends, and very spot comments.. i found his comments to be amusing and gave me inspiration to be more creative when writing my comments, as you should be too. no cares if "u did the route 4th try on a hot day. 10th pitch of the day".. i want to know if your hot american gaisha girl respects you or not, or how your dry cleaning business is going.. i mean really, if points and grades don't matter and we all are out here to fun and climb harder. then why does what we write in a comment section ment mostly for our friends to read any way matter.  BRING J MCNASTY BACK!! or as an asian american i will be forced to ban you from my korean restaurant.  

sasha digiulian's score card is offensive.. she tells way to much about routes blowing my onsights. she is stealing points from me.. i want those points!!.. how will i ever move up in the rankings when this girl keeps blowing all my onsights with this beta spray. i think this has to be stopped i want to formally place a complaint about this account and have it flagged, or removed.

J McNasty has by himself made his scorecard "Anonymous". I have just told him that it is not OK to make comparison to Hiroshima and use other offensive words.

Lame... i never heard of him before, but now i am interested in reading his comments. what about those who put comments in languages that we don't even know what they are? they can be saying anything... whatever guys... some people, like the one above don't like life to be funny, leave them alone, for them life is a serious shit...and they try to move around hardly.

Jens, J Mcnasty's scorecard was brilliant.  The comments were hilarious and the ascents were astounding: 8c second go by a guy you never heard of?  He just sent his first 14c also.  I've been climbing with him recently and can tell you that he is the real deal, very humble and brave.  He just likes to have a fun time.  If the edgy comments that poke fun at Asian stereotypes are offensive to you, just know that he is Asian.  And it is true that he has a hot American geisha bride.  It's all true!    Please explain your reason very clearly for deleting his scorecard.  Every ascent is valid and nothing written on there is more offensive than what can be found on Comedy Central at 8:00 P.M.  If J Mcnasty had started a blog on blogger or blogspot, all of his humorous commentary would still be around for us to enjoy.  Why do you feel it is 8a's right to censor his personal comments? 

We have not deleted his account. He has made his account anonymous by himself. After I sent a message to him explaining that we have received he compliants he answered. "Alright, I erased any vulgar words and the photos are gone. thanks." We do not censor but as you can see he agreed that he had gone over the line.

It sounds like you are hiding behind this notion of "he made his account anonymous." However, it also sounds implied that you pressured him into this by sending him a message stating his comments were inapporpriate.  Just because he took the action does not mean that there is no censorship.  The threat of censorship to make the party comply, as seen in this case, is just as effective as you taking the action yourself.

I know this probably is implied and doesn't need to be said, but I will naturally be removing my scorecard if JMcnasty isn't brought back in full force... Jens, mark my words, you are about to see WORLD RECORD boycott numbers.
