Bug in 8a total climbs logged stats?

I have noticed on 8a that there are never more than 100 climbs logged daily except on the weekend. How does that add up to 30,000+ climbs logged on 8a a month then? This would require 1000+ climbs everyday These are from the stats listed on the left side bar of the home page. Is this a bug?
