Bouldering meeting in the Po-valley

We wanted to inform you that our tiny Italian climbing association is going wild and is currently organising a bouldering event for next October 11+12 in a lovely spot at the foot of Mount Monviso, Po Valley, North-West Italy. The idea came out one sunny sunday morning of an ordinary december day while we were bouldering in our 'home' spot. This area is not far from where we live and has given us plenty of good climbs in the years we've climbed there. So we said 'why not?' Basically it's a 2-day party which revolves around the world of bouldering and includes an open contest which aims at catching the attention of several pros. A sort of MINIMELLOBLOCCO. The qualification phase is on real rock, the finals on a bouldering structure. There's going to be a sort of base camp where everyone can put their tent or van and the link to the climbing areas is guaranteed by 2 minibuses.  The prize in money - to be shared men and women, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place - is €3.000. In addition to that, there are also prizes in equipment by E9, Montura, Black Diamond, Andrea Boldrini.   After one week we've opened the website page for the subscription to the event, we already have world renowned Christian Core and Gabriele Moroni amongst others in our list. Not bad for an event which takes place in October!
