Bouldering and tall people

Lately i have been listening to a lot of fuss about downgrading boulder problems for people taller than, lets say 1,88m. because "we reach more". Personally, i believe this is an absurd way of letting people know your lack of will to send a problem, hence, critisizing more apt people in order to reach them. The fact that people group together around such a nuisance, is simply pathetic, a bunch of loosers who just lost their ideals of what climbing is, and are only worried about collecting grades to show off to their fellow "mates". Climbing is not like collecting coins, or stamps. Climbing is about self-satisfaction, about achieving something through your own personal effort, no matter what others can or cant do. The guys who spread this shit around, are all clearly offended by their lack of imagination to send a boulder, be it a dyno, or a traverse, especially the dynos, where we tall climbers, have a natural easyness to reach a hold, and we apparently have no merit in sending the dyno, because "we are so tall, we hardly have to jump". Screw you! there are thousands of boulders where short people can do them in no time, and we have to stretch out our looong legs to places with no foot holds, or just cram ourselves into imposible figures to continue the problem. Anyhow, i hope this dumbness will fail to extend amongst the climbing community, for it would be a real shame. Think about it, when an NBA player, smashes? Are points deducted for height? "Oh, that was a beautiful smash! Unluckily, he is taller than 1,95, so, he just gets 1 point for it"
I understand your problem. I have come across the same thing as you. I'm a climber of 2.0 meters tall. I think the reason for this is that it's so obvious sometimes. In some cases boulders are just more easy for the tall. Look at dyno's, reachy moves etcetera. Of course, other boulders are easier for others. Smaller people, people with strong fingers and so on, but in these cases it's less obvious why they would be easier. If one looks at top climbers, then usually they are quite small. Below 1.80 m. So in general I would have to say that climbing is more difficult for the tall. Only in some cases it's more easy. It is an interesting question. Are there any top climbers above 1.90 m? And do they consider it a disadvantage or not?
