Bonus points for FA etc

When you register route ascents you can also add FA, Trad, 2:Go or Soft. First Ascenders (FA) will receive 10 bonus points, meaning first time the route was climbed or you have placed the bolts. Traditional (Trad) gives 30 points bonus, meaning a route where you have placed the nuts or friends by yourself. 2:Go will receive 2 bonus points, meaning you have done the route on your second go, i.e. the attempt after your first onsight/flash Soft, means that you think that the grade is soft or doubtful. We plan to do the same thing with Bouldering and exchange Trad with Traverse, no bonus points. What do you think? Nothing is written in stone!
Like any other update you made, this one is good also, but, considering the points, it wont make a big difference in the overal score, because the 10 hardest roots are rearely first acenders or. trad. 2.GO Is a bit more probable, but 2 point are just a drop in the ocean... Soft is cool. Anyway you praobably observed all of these comments in comments spaces of many scorecards, und with this update you made the frequent comments more official, and the comments space a bit less needed. Keep up the good work!!
how about some bonus points for soloing routes or multipitch routes?
how about some bonus points for soloing routes or multipitch routes?
Doing that would maybe encourage some desperate point-searching peolple to get hurt.
I think if you really want to free-solo a route, you do it for yourself and not for some extra points or stuff like that. Every climber has to take his own risk for his style of climbing. And by the way if people really climb just to gain points, they should better look for another sport! Because in my point of view that has nothing to do with the sport climbing itself.
I was also wondering about multipitch routes, it seems a bit daft to enter every pitch separately, but we are definitely putting in a huge amount more effort on our latest line than on any single pitch line Ive worked. Maybe the bigger adventures shouldnt be rated on a points system but just kept in our memories to look back on in old age?
