On the Canadian side, UBC in Vancouver and Dal U in Halifax probably are probably closest to the most development. I'd like to know about US schools too!
I've looked into this some (both for bouldering and route climbing) for potential grad schools. UC Boulder would put you pretty close to a lot of good (and hard) stuff between Boulder Canyon, RMNP, Eldo, etc. I'm currently in school at the U. of Arkansas, and there's a lot of good bouldering in the area. There are a lot of undeveloped areas and areas with access issues, but hard stuff is getting put up all the time. I would also look into schools in Cali/Nevada for proximity to the monster areas like JTree, Bishop, and Yos.
Best colleges in U.S. for bouldering?
