hi i am thinking about going to arco in may, but have heard it is super polished??? can some who know the area give some info about it? how about camping etc. I prefer overhanging routes from 6c-7b+ ----- giv me jugs :-)
Hi, first: there will be many people in the end of may in Arco, cause on may 22 the bavarian school holidays beginn. the old and famous crags are polished, like massone, la gola and so on. but there are so many crags that you can avoid it. and with polished routes, the skin gets not soo hurt;-) there are also cool multi-pitch-routes. camping is near the village Arco, you can walk there in about 10-15min. you can find a lot of overhanging stuff, just check the routebook. Massone for example, or terra pomessa, grotto saurus... and that are just a few crags near arco...
