been thinking of that thing. Can you say its harder than the seperate routesproblems when he can take a no hand rest for several min? what if you have two vertical routes with a chelf that you can stand on and rest. say a 20 meter 8a with a 10 meter extension what has something you can stand on and rest be any harder than 8a? would just be like climbing two routes.
@ Babeluba: You can not compare a no-hands rest hanging into a knee-bar into a roof with standing on a ledge. Grades do not measure objective facts, but how difficult, i.e. how much Time and Effort do the climbers have to spend to accomplish a project.
