Adam Ondra did "Mascherina 8c" at Grotta dell'Areonauta (Italy) at the age of 11. I have never been the best in maths but wouldn't that be the official world record!
An American record is not the same as a world record :-).

Yeah, I didn't pay attention to the geographic aspect of this article. But he wrote about world record! So I thought that he was talking about the entire world! But so be it!
