Hi Jens, on an iPhone or iPad, you can add websites to the home screen so they are just one click away. I use the mobile 8a website this way. For this purpose, the website itself can define the icon for the home screen, for example the one you already use for the 8a topo app. This just requires a small addition to the web page header: http://gigaom.com/apple/how-to-create-ios-device-home-screen-icons-for-web-sites/ Maybe you can discuss this with the people who manage your website until the full 8a app is available?
