35+ was changed to 40+

Hi all Just saw that the ranking has changed so that the 35+ category is now 40+. I don't mind (I'm 43), since it will give me a better ranking. But I am curious why this change was made? Cheers Sune

The reason for this change is of course that it seems you can perform at your best level being almost 40 in climbing.

Well for me at least I currently am performing better than ever at age 43, having just done my first 7c - so I guess you are right :-)

Yes, climbing is truly unique when it comes to age an performance as we also have The 10 year old performing at top level.
