2:go term

From FAQ: "Second:Go = If you do it, the 2:Go you try it, incl. the hang-dog or onsight/flash try." Could you explain this term in simple words? Does it mean just a repetition of a route? Or smth more/else?

Sorry ;) The first time you try a route, it's an onsight or a flash. If you miss it you normally hang-dog to the top. If you do it on the next try, you do it 2:go, i.e. the first redpoint attempt. Good luck!
So if you do the route from the 4-th try it is NOT 2:Go. If you did this route (onsight) a year ago and now repeat it it is NOT 2:Go also. Correct?

That is correct. 2:go is only if you do it the second time you are climbing the route/boulder.
Thanks!
