Toe nails

Thats truly epic son. How much do you down size your shoes? Try wearing a bigger pair of shoes on warm ups and easier climbs, or on everything....

hey miriam, I had the same with my big toe a few years back. I wore my new shoes on a warm day for too long, and cracked my nail. if it doesn't hurt, I wouldn't worry about it too much, the nail will keep on growing underneath the crack, and the loose part will grow out. it looks bad, but didn't cause me any harm. the tight shoes however are a different story. my big toes have been lightly bruised for two years now. no pain or anything, but a bigger size (or taking your shoes off directly when finished climbing) might help you. good luck!

yes, it looks the same grubber, will wait and see whether it grows out....shoes are not too tight though, maybe its my toe's anatomy;) thanks for your answers, cheers
