pain middle finger/tendinitis ?

hi ! i made a climbing break about 2 weeks ago, because i went to the sea for holidays. the break was for about 2 weeks. after coming back i started to climb and train again, but after 3 climbing days i noticed a pain in my right middle finger. its a bit strange, the most pain i get from holds where i can put the whole flat hand, i dont know the english word, in german we call it "aufleger". i can do crimps quite good. i also didnt start full power climbing after the break, i did easy routes for the beginning, before going back to my limit, which is about 8a, by the way.. i never had a problem with by body again, please dont tell me i have to take a break, because actually i just took one. to what i read in the inet i think i have an inflammation of my finger tendon, what can i do? is there any good special cremes ? thanks for any suggestions and help, all the best chris
Hi Proably just a minor inflammation - use Voltaren (diclofenac) 50 mg tabl twice daily for 10 days - warm up thoroughly and stretch the flexor (gripping) tendons before and after eack climbing session and at least 4 times extra daily on top of that Good luck Björn
thanks alot, i will try that. greetings ! chris
